A new exhibit explores African American History


February is a special month, we know it as Black History Month. It began as a way to honor and recognize important people in African-American culture but it’s become so much more. It’s the perfect time to check out a newly open exhibition at the Grand Rapids African American Museum and Archives that teaches about the history of blackface.
