GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Looking for a furry friend who loves peanut butter or plaid? Meet this week’s Pets of the Week.
First up is Oscar, dubbed “the peanut butter monster.” Oscar is a goofy, playful 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who arrived at the Kent County Animal Shelter as a stray. This pup loves playing with toys and learning new tricks, especially if they come with lots of treats.
Oscar is looking for a house with children who are at least 8 years or older. He will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and licensed upon adoption.
Next up is Jolie. This little pup is about 10 years old. She’s looking for a quieter home to live out her golden years.
Jolie would do best in a home without small children with an owner ready to give her TLC. This plaid-clad pup has a little spunk and some nice clean teeth, thanks to a dental treatment by shelter workers.
If you’re interested in adopting Oscar, Jolie or any other pet at the Kent County Animal Shelter, call 616.632.7300 or visit the organization’s website.
