KCAS Pets of the Week: Lucky, Rocky, Copper and Allie

Pet of the Week

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Meet Lucky, Rocky, Copper and Allie, four dogs who are up for adoption at the Kent County Animal Shelter.

The shelter said the dogs are patiently waiting for families.

Lucky has been featured as a pet of the week before. He is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix who is playful and cuddly. He knows how to “sit” and can catch treats.

You’ve seen Rocky before, too. The animal shelter said he would love lots of personal attention and would do best in a one-dog home.

Copper is an active 1.5-year-old boxer mix. At 73 pounds, he’s fairly big, so he would do best in a home with older children he can play with.

Next, meet Allie, a bulldog mix who is around 2 years old and is very energetic and loving.

During her visit to WOOD TV8’s Media Arts Center studio, Allie was very well-behaved and didn’t bark once! Could she be a good fit for your family?

KCAS currently has a lot of dogs, cats and kittens up for adoption. If you’re interested in adding a pet to your family, you can reach the shelter at its website or call 616.632.7304.

Additionally, Saturday is the Empty the Shelters event across West Michigan, with the BISSELL Pet Foundation picking up much of the tab.
