The Grand Rapids Symphony plays at Carnegie Hall

The Grand Rapids Symphony had the honor to perform in New York City at the famous Carnegie Hall last month. Eva Aguirre Cooper and crew had exclusive access to follow the Symphony and document their trip.

The Grand Rapids Symphony, led by Music Director Marcelo Lehninger preformed Ravel’s “Bolero” and works by Brazilian Composer Villa Lobos. The performance also featured world renowned pianist Nelson Freire.

Over 100 musicians from Grand Rapids made the trip to NYC’s Carnegie, along with 200 members of the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus.
