“Home Alone” on Thurs. Nov. 29 The modern holiday classic starring Macaulay Culkin features John Williams sentimental film score.
“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1-2 — The fourth film in the Harry Potter franchise and the fourth film the GRS has presented in the Harry Potter Film Concert Series.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday March 8-10 The first film in the franchise starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.

“The Snowman,” on Saturday, Nov. 17 The animated short based on Raymond Brigg’s award winning children’s book, “The Snowman,” coupled with Howard Black’s evocative musical score including the song “Walking in the Air.”
Wolverine Worldwide Holiday Pops on Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 6-9 The West Michigan Holiday tradition welcomes vocalist Justin Hopkins back to DeVos Hall to sing “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” plus the GR Symphony Chorus and Youth Chorus and Embellish handbell ensemble all in music including “Sleigh Ride” and a Christmas carol singalong.
Cirque du Noel on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 19-10 The 10th anniversary annual collaboration between the Grand Rapids Symphony and Cirque de la Symphonie, the troupe of acrobats, aerial artists, jugglers, contortionists and more, performing amazing feats of strength, stamina, agility and grace, to holiday music and classical favorites.
