Strike Out Cancer Tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) - When Thomas Sikkema, a former Hudsonville High School Student, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer, he partnered with Milan’s Miracle Fund to create a baseball fundraiser for kids like him. After undergoing brain surgery, chemotherapy and many months of radiation, he was able to play baseball his senior year of high school.

This year, the Hudsonville High School sports and marketing class continued to honor his vision by hosting the 5th annual Strike Out Cancer Tournament.

This event is a huge high school baseball and softball tournament that raises money in an effort to fund research to end pediatric cancer and support families that have lost loved ones.
