Even Terri DeBoer couldn’t have forecast her exciting new role at WOOD TV8. Co-hosting eightWest is a great way for West Michigan’s favorite morning meteorologist to keep viewers informed and entertained.
“The best part of my career as a Storm Team 8 meteorologist is tracking the constant changes in the weather,” said DeBoer. “I’m so excited to expand my role to include co-hosting eightWest every weekday, helping to tell the great stories about the periods of storminess and sunshine that are a part of everyday life!”
DeBoer is excited to share a different side of her upbeat and outgoing personality with West Michigan. A married mother of three kids (ages 15, 20, and 23), she loves sharing her journey through life, by connecting with other moms across West Michigan. She is moving into a new stage in life, welcoming in a "new daughter" & "new son" into the family, as within the past year and a half, her two adult children have gotten married! Her son & daughter each married their high school sweethearts! DeBoer is no stranger to the fun and challenges that come from raising children, balancing a career, and impacting the community.
“ eightWest is an energetic and informative platform where we will explore all of the issues facing members of today’s “sandwich generation”, like me!,” said DeBoer. “I am thrilled to be part of an effort that will showcase every facet of life!”
