ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WOOD) - Michigan football has released photos of the the commemorative jerseys the team will wear to the Cowboys Classic.
The jerseys, which are white with maize across the shoulders and down the sleeves framed in blue piping, will be worn in the Sept. 1 opening game against Alabama. A blue block M will be on either sleeve.
Adizero Smoke gloves will have the lyrics of "The Victors" on them.
The jerseys were designed by Michigan, Adidas and the providers of the traditional winged helmets, according to a release.

Also this season, according to the release, the maize wings on the traditional helmet will be updated with new paint to create a more durable surface and highlight the design. Players' numbers will no longer be on the helmet, but they will feature the American flag on the back.
