EAST LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) - Michigan State University says the rainy week is changing parking accommodations for this weekend's football game against Michigan.
MSU says Munn Field and other intramural fields will not be available for parking on Saturday due to the rain.
Parking will instead be provided at:
- The former Michigan State Police Headquarters site off Harrison Road, directly west of the Breslin Arena
- Student parking Lot 83 on Service Road east of Harrison Road
- Student parking Lot 91, on Service Road just west of Hagadorn Road. The parking fee for the lot will include a shuttle ride from the MSU Clinical Center west of the lot to Spartan Stadium
Parking lots will open at 9 a.m. MSU advises early arrival and patience.
The Michigan-Michigan State game kicks off at at 3:30 p.m. at Spartan Stadium and can be seen on WOTV.
A few flurries occurred Thursday night. Lows held in the teens and the wind relaxed to the 5 to 10 mph range, with 20s at the Lake Michigan.
On Thursday, the medical examiner's office said CMU student Kelly Markatos died as a result of the eating disorder bulimia.
A memorial marker was unveiled for three young siblings who died in an apartment fire 10 months ago.
