GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids Christian junior Drake Harris has committed to play football at Michigan, according to his Twitter account.
Harris, a star wide receiver, tweeted Sunday afternoon, "Just officially committed to The University Of Michigan!"
Harris initially committed in June 2012 to play both basketball and football at Michigan State. But after he decided in January to focus only on football, he re-opened the recruiting process.
Harris was an all-state performer as a sophomore in both basketball and football in the 2011-2012 school year. He is considered one of the top recruits in the class of 2014.
Michigan, MSU, Ohio State and Alabama all showed interest in Harris.
