GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - High school football season kicked off Thursday night, and Football Frenzy was once again all over West Michigan to bring you highlights of 21 games.

In one of the three spotlight games, two state championship teams -- Grand Rapids Christian and South Christian -- faced off. Grand Rapids Christian All-American wide receiver Drake Harris was not on the field after pulling a hamstring in the summer's final scrimmage.
"It was pretty disappointing," he said.
But his Eagle teammates said they are ready to take on the Sailors -- and they proved they could win without Harris.
Grand Rapids Christian beat South Christian 41-13.
