GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The trial of Eric Freeman, accused in the beating death of aformer college football player in January 2008, continued withanother of the men involved taking the stand.
Luis Gaston, who previously plead guilty to his role in thebeating and subsequent death of Jonathan Krystiniak, testifiedabout one of his friends punching Krystiniak shortly after theyleft the Margarita Grill that night.
When he was asked who else kicked Krystiniak, Gaston replied,"Eric."
"Where in his head did you see Eric kick him?"
"The same place I kicked him," Gaston said. "One right afteranother."
Gaston and three other defendants plead guilty to manslaughter.Freeman is the only one who chose to go to trial.
