GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Target 8 went shopping and found potentially dangerous items being sold right here in West Michigan. They're products the government hasn’t recalled, despite receiving safety complaints from consumers.
One such item is the subject of a federal lawsuit that claims three babies suffocated in it.
"That's scary," one mother told Target 8. "I would wonder why something like this hasn't been recalled if that's happened."
Target 8 investigators examined the recall process and how it works, but also uncovered a new resource that could go a long way in helping you keep your family safe.
Target 8 walks you through how you can dig up critical safety complaints about products before the government has even recalled them.
