LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) - The state has rolled out a new unemployment insurance online system aimed at improving service.
The Michigan Integrated Data Automated System (MIDAS) upgraded Oct. 1, according to a release from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Unemployment insurance accounts may now be accessed online at the Michigan Web Account Manager.
Additionally, the Michigan Automated Voice Interactive Network (MARVIN) has an updated script and will now be available Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The changeover to the new system delayed payments to a number of people. Their benefits should be deposited into their accounts on Friday.
