VARNA, Ill. (AP) - Authorities in Marshall County in central Illinois have identified the two truck drivers who were killed in a fiery crash this week in a head-on collision near the community of Varna.
In a news release on Thursday, Marshall County Coroner David Lenz Jr. says the drivers were 30-year-old Matthew Luna of Peoria Heights and 47-year-old Carl Vanwy of South Haven, Mich.
The two men were killed when their trucks traveling on Illinois Route 89 on Wednesday afternoon crashed. Lenz says an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
