SAUGATUCK, Mich. (WOOD) - The Saugatuck High School football field was vandalized, policeand school officials discovered at around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The turf at the stadium has spots on it, and police believe theincident occurred Monday night.
The year-old field probably can be fixed without having to fileinsurance claims, according to the Saugatuck superintendent.
Damage is not as bad as school officials feared.
Cleanup has been underway since Tuesday morning. The fieldshould be back to normal by Friday.
A man is in jail, allegedly connected to 14 burglaries that occurred in Cass County this month.
