THREE RIVERS, Mich. (WOOD) - One woman was hurt and another was not when their vehicles collided at an intersection in Three Rivers.
It was around 4:30 p.m. Monday when police and rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene near U.S. 131 and Millard Road.
Michele Root was driving north on U.S. 131 and disregarded the red traffic light at Millard Road, police said, and her vehicle struck a westbound vehicle driven by Arianna Swartzentruber.
Swartzentruber, 22, was transported to Three Rivers Health for treatment to minor injuries.
Root, 51, was not hurt.
Alcohol was not a factor in the wreck, and both women from Three Rivers wore their seat belts.
