VOLINIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three people were injured when two vehicles collided at a Cass County intersection.
Police and rescue personnel were dispatched around 10:46 a.m. Tuesday to the scene near Marcellus Highway and Decatur Road in Volinia Township.
Ronald Severns, 80, from Mentone Indi. was driving north and failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle driven by 59-yr-old Frank Ross from Marcellus, police said.
Severns and his wife and passenger, Lillian, were transported to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac.
Ross was treated and released at the scene.
Everybody wore their seat belts.
Alcohol was not a factor in the wreck, which remains under investigation.
