BLOOMINGDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three brothers are accused of stealing quite the load of collectibles from an abandoned Van Buren County residence.
The men have been arraigned on the following charges --

-- Michael Volenski, 19, from Bloomingdale on a warrant for breaking and entering a building with intent (10-year felony); receiving and concealing stolen property over $1,000 (five-year felony)
The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office was initially contacted by the Portage Department of Public Safety on Aug. 2.
Portage officers conducted a traffic stop in which Steven and Michael Volenski had a large amount of uncirculated coins, stamps, sports cards, silver mint spoons and Bobblehead figurines in their possession.
Police discovered the victim's name and address in Van Buren County, along with some of these belongings.
Detectives located the address that the Volenskis had in their possession, which was an abandoned residence in the 8000 block of 40th Street in Bloomingdale Township.
A relative of the owner was then contacted.
Detectives learned the owner of the residence had passed away three years ago and the residence had sat abandoned since.
Detectives met the relative at the property and discovered that it had been burglarized and the aforementioned items were taken.
A search warrant was conducted at two different locations, which revealed some of the same items.
Police learned the Volenskis had also pawned many of the coins at local coin and pawn shops in Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties.
After the investigation was finalized, a report was submitted to the Van Buren County Prosecutor's Office, which issued arrest warrants.
Michael Volenski was living with John and arrested after the Portage traffic stop on state probation violation charges. He was taken to the Allegan County Jail.
Steven Volenski was also on state probation and arrested on the listed charges.
John was subsequently arrested on the stolen property warrant.
Bond on Michael and Steven was set at $10,000 cash/surety, and for John at $5,000 cash/surety.
Steven posted bond, Michael is still in jail on a probation violation, and John is still in jail.
