BERTRAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three people were hurt when two vehicles collided on a Berrien County road.
Heather Baker, 23, from South Bend, Ind. suffered critical injuries and is at South Bend Memorial Hospital. Her passenger -- Roman Estrada, 34, from South Bend -- was treated and released from the hospital.
The other driver, who was not identified in a news release, was also treated and released.
Police said Baker was driving about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and crossed the center lane of U.S. 12 west of Bakertown Road in Bertrand Township. Her vehicle then went into the path of the other vehicle.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
The Norton Shores Police Department is reporting three reports of stolen snowblowers this week.
About a dozen people were displaced.
One person was arrested after a threatening comment resulted in a school district briefly locking down its schools Friday morning.
