DUNDEE, Mich. (WOOD) - Michigan's most-visited tourist destination was damaged by atornado Sunday.
A tornado likely touched down in Dundee at 2:17 a.m., officialssaid, causing damage to Cabela's and the Splash Universe waterpark, according to AnnArbor.com.
As many as 150 people were hurt when the roof blew off at theHoliday Inn in Dundee, WTVG reported.
There are reports of homes heavily damaged and semitrailersbeing blown off US 23.
The National Guard was called to help residents in the area.
A survey team will be sent to the area to verify the damage wascaused by a tornado and determine how strong it was and where ittouched down, National Weather Service Meteorologist Amos Dodsontold AnnArbor.com.
