DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police say they're investigating the deaths of two females whose badly burned bodies were found in the trunk of a car on the city's east side
According to NBC Detroit affiliate WDIV , firefighters responded to the scene near the intersection of Lannette Street and Queen Street around 1 a.m. Sunday.
The two bodies were found inside the trunk of the burning vehicle, which was inside the garage of a home.
The Detroit Police Department confirms the victims were females. The bodies were burned beyond recognition, police said.
Police Sgt. Alan Quinn says the investigation is just starting, and police don't yet have any suspects in the case.
