GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A motorcyclist died after crashing his motorcycle into a guardrail Saturday afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said Joshua Karl Stuyvesant, 22, crashed his motorcycle in the 3000 block of Fillmore Street around 2:30 p.m.
Deputies said Stuyvesant "failed to negotiate" a curve, left the road and hit the guardrail. He was wearing a helmet.
Stuyvesant was taken to the hospital in critical condition with chest and pelvic injuries Saturday. The Medical Examiner then notified police that Stuyvesant died from his injuries.
