PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Ottawa County authorities are looking for a driver who left the scene of a rollover crash that injured a mother and three young children.
It happened at 144th Avenue and New Holland Street in Park Township around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.
The 25-year-old driver of a van that was headed south on 144th swerved to avoid a vehicle headed east on New Holland that was stopped in the her lane. The van went off the road, into a ditch and rolled, landing on its roof.
The van driver and her three children -- ages 6, 2 and 1 -- all sustained minor injuries.
The children were in car seats.
The driver of a dark-colored car that was parked in the lane took off. The sheriff's department is looking for that driver.
