GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) - A film crew transformed Grand Haven into Virginia Beach onThursday as it became a set for "What's Wrong with Virginia,"starring Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris.
In the film, Connelly plays a single mother involved in anaffair with the local sheriff, played by Harris, who is campaigningfor the state senate.
Grand Haven City Manager Patrick McGinnis brought his10-year-old daughter Mary to work to watch the crew film at GrandHaven City Hall. It remained open for business.
The film boosts the lakeshore economy, McGinnis said.
It will be shot in about 30 locations in the Holland andGrand Haven areas.
