TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Funeral services will be held Friday for a 16-year-old West Michigan boy shot to death while he and a friend played with a handgun.
Brandon Kuiper's funeral is 7 p.m. at Hudsonville Congregational United Church of Christ in Hudsonville, according to VanderLaan Funeral Home. His family will meet friends at the church from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 5-7 p.m. Friday.

Kuiper was shot in the face March 6 in the basement of a Tallmadge Township home. He died two days later at a Grand Rapids hospital.
Richard Usher, 18, is charged with manslaughter.
Police say the shooting followed talk about a game of Russian roulette. Four other males, ages 17 to 19, were in the basement when the shooting occurred. No one else was hurt.
