HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - An 18-year-old female from Holland was arrested for not having a driver's license after police said her car crashed into a motorcyclist.
The suspect was driving on 120th Avenue and turning left onto Riley Street in Holland Township around 9:09 p.m. Monday when police said she didn't see the oncoming motorcyclist.
The collision resulted in the motorcyclist, 57-year-old Thomas Fortney from Zeeland Township, suffering serious injuries.
A woman from Mount Pleasant died after her SUV crashed on a road in Montcalm County.
Mirror parts found at the scene indicate it may be a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander.
An observation survey was conducted by the Wayne State University Transportation Research Group.
