MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - A 27-year-old man was arrested Monday in Milwaukee for the 2010 slaying of a Muskegon teenager.
Maurice Clemons was quickly identified as a suspect in the killing of Brandon McPherson, 19, on Nov. 28, 2010 . McPherson was shot to death around 1:40 p.m. that day near the intersection of Isabella and Ambrosia streets. He died at the hospital soon after.
Clemons was believed to be hiding out in the Milwaukee area, and a task force from the Muskegon Police Department and the US Marshals service worked with Wisconsin law enforcement to find him.
He was picked up by Milwaukee police on a suspicious person complaint and is being held in the Milwaukee County Jail. He is awaiting extradition to Muskegon for charges relating to the murder of McPherson.
