STANTON, Mich. (WOOD) - Surveillance video shows a man who authorities say showed up armed and drunk at the Montcalm County Sheriff's Department.
The video was taken Saturday, July 20 outside the county jail. It shows he was wearing a gun in a shoulder holster.
Investigators say the man was drunk, swearing and demanding help with a custody situation. They said he did have a concealed weapons permit.
In the video, he eventually leaves with an unidentified woman and is arrested off-screen.
Police are not releasing his name. He faces charges of possessing a firearm while intoxicated, and suspension or revocation of his concealed weapons permit.
Police are investigating a report of a home invasion, but say there are inconsistencies.
A Kalamazoo County sheriff's deputy will not face criminal sexual conduct charges.
