STANTON, Mich. (WOOD) - An Ionia man has been sentenced to decades in prison after he pleaded guilty in the death of a Montcalm County mother of twins.
Robert Munsell was sentenced in Montcalm County Circuit Court Wednesday morning to spend 37.5 to 75 years behind bars.
In August, Munsell pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the November death of Julie Danielson, 31, of Pierson Township. The pair was in an on-again, off-again relationship.
Initially, Munsell denied any involvement in Danielson’s death.
However, he eventually confessed to investigators that he and Danielson had gotten into an argument at her home and he killed her.
