WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - Employees at a Wyoming convenience store are cleaning up after a vehicle crashed into it Sunday.
Around 2:40 p.m., a van got rear-ended in traffic on Burton Street. Instead of hitting the brakes, the driver hit the gas pedal. The van went into the front of Pfeffer's convenience store.
No one was inside the store at the time of the crash because it was closed.
The owner tells 24 Hour News 8 the estimated damage is around $50,000.
The driver of the van was shaken, but unhurt after the accident.
