PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - The man was arrested at his home not long after allegedly robbing a nearby bank.
A man in his mid-40s robbed the Chase Bank branch in the 3500 block of Plainfield Avenue NE happened around noon Monday, according to the Kent County Sheriff's Department. He took off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A K9 tracked the suspect to his residence in a nearby neighborhood. He was arrested without incident.
The suspect was lodged in the Kent County jail on a federal bank robbery charge. His name is being withheld pending official charges.
