TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Four people were injured after a minivan and car collided near a Kent County intersection.
The van was traveling north on Peach Ridge Avenue when its driver lost control, causing the vehicle to cross the center line and strike the northbound car near 20 Mile Road NW, police said.
Police and rescue personnel arrived around 10:07 p.m. Sept. 28 to the scene north of Sparta.
All four occupants in the car were transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment. Two of the occupants suffered broken bones and other injuries. The other occupants only received minor injuries.
The van was only occupied by the driver, who was not injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
