WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - The owner of a Subway in Wyoming is assessing the damage after a car slammed into his business Saturday night.
It happened at the restaurant located on 28th Street near Burlingame.
Officials from the Wyoming Police Department told 24 Hour News 8 that the driver of the car accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes.
A witness told 24 Hour News 8 that it looked like a scene out of a movie.
"Makes your heart stop, make sure everybody's alright like I said and everybody is shook up, but thinking oh my God, we just thought it could be a lot worse," said Wendy Lorentz.
The Subway was open when the crash happened, but no one was hurt.
The driver has been ticketed, and the owner said he doesn't know how much it will cost to fix the building or how long it will take.
A contractor will be boarding up the building Sunday.
