CALEDONIA, Mich. (WOOD) - A crash involving a car, pickup truck and camper trailer left four people hurt.
The car, which was originally headed west on M-6 near Kalamazoo Avenue in Caledonia, crossed the median and struck the eastbound truck, police said.
The truck had several passengers and was pulling a fifth-wheel camper trailer and another trailer behind it.
After the crash, the truck landed on its side with the camper on top of it.
The driver of the car that crossed the median, a 74-year-old Hastings woman, had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Four people were hurt: one from the car and three from the truck. All four were taken to hospitals for treatment. The severity of their injuries is not known.
The camper was part of a carnival caravan traveling to its next job.
Eastbound M-6 at Kalamazoo Avenue reopened around 6:43 p.m. after being closed for more than three hours.
