GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people accused of raping a 1-year-old have been brought back to West Michigan to face charges.
Michael Emory, 25, and 27-year-old Stevie Foehl were caught in South Carolina Aug. 16.
Ottawa County authorities were investigating Emory earlier this summer for an alleged sex assault on an a teen when they say they came across video in his Comstock Park apartment that showed him and Foehl engaging in sex acts with the baby.
Ottawa County turned over that evidence to the Kent County Sheriff's Department, which issued a warrant.
Neighbors said the two bolted shortly after their apartment was raided. They were found in Spartansburg County, S.C. and arrested with the assistance of the FBI Fugitive Task Force and local authorities.
After being extradited back to Michigan, both were in the Kent County jail Friday.
They each face multiple charges including first-degree criminal sexual conduct. They are expected to be officially charged next week.
