HASTINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - Officials in several West Michigan counties are reporting damage after strong storms hit late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Tornado Warnings were issued late in the night for Barry, Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties.
The damage reports include downed trees and utility lines.
There were numerous power outages in West Michigan.
Storm Team 8 says it will be a warm and humid Wednesday. The morning showers and thunderstorms will likely give way to drier air in the afternoon. The highs will reach the low 80s, with partial sunshine emerging in the afternoon.
A Kalamazoo County sheriff's deputy will not face criminal sexual conduct charges.
A candlelight vigil was held Wednesday night for an innocent bystander who was shot and killed in October.
Police say they haven't been able to find out which student was responsible after a Muskegon kindergartner was choked with his own scarf on the playground.
