SPRINGFIELD, Mich. (WOOD) - Police assisted Children's Protective Services during an investigation after a methamphetamine lab was found at a Calhoun County residence.
CPS members were already at the home in the 100 block of Kirkwood Avenue when Springfield Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers arrived and located components used to cook methamphetamine, and a methamphetamine lab, according to a news release.
Calhoun County sheriff's deputies were also sent to the residence to help dispose the drugs.
