PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - A Portage man diagnosed with dementia was located Monday morning after disappearing Sunday night.
Security staff at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo spotted William Hamacher around 7 a.m. Monday and called police.
The 41-year-old is in good health and later reunited with his family, according to a news release from the Portage Department of Public Safety.
Hamacher lives on Meredith Street and had been last seen between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Romence Road and Sprinkle Road.
