PORTAGE, Mich. (WOOD) - A 71-year-old man is recovering after he was run over by his own vehicle.
It happened around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of Woodhams Avenue in Portage.
Portage fire units were responding to a call on the other side of the city, so units from Pavilion Township assisted.
The Portage resident was in his driveway when he was accidentally run over by his own vehicle, police said. No other details regarding the accident have been released.
The man was taken to a hospital with what police said appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
