KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - The Kalamazoo Township board passed an ordinance banning discrimination in employment, public accomodation and housing practices Monday evening.
The ordinance was passed unanimously. It bans discrimination based on several factors including race, religion and sexual orientation.
Several other areas, including Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, have similar ordinances.
Danyell Thomas's preliminary hearing was adjourned and Dijana Kilic waived her hearing.
