KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Nine people have been arrested in Kalamazoo after authorities served nine drug search warrants.
During the searches of the nine locations, two handguns, a sawed-off shotgun, heroin, crack cocaine, and marijuana were seized.
A total of 15 separate charges were issued to the nine Kalamazoo residents arrested. Some of the charges include: possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, felony firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, and frequenting and maintaining a drug house.
The new Community Outreach Problem Solving Division of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety conducted the investigations in response to neighborhood complaints.
