KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A 19-year-old man will spend between nine and 25 years in prison for stealing less than $200 during an armed robbery.
Antoine Cantrell was sentenced Monday and also ordered to pay $193.79 in restitution. He pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery earlier this month. To other counts were dismissed.
Cantrell, 20-year-old Ryan Hattaway and 18-year-old Jocelyn Walker were arrested in December 2012 for committing two robberies on Western Michigan University's campus and one at a nearby 7-Eleven store.
Hattaway pleaded guilty earlier this month to two counts of armed robbery, and will be sentenced in April.
Walker is scheduled to stand trial next month on three counts of armed robbery.
