OTISCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries after her minivan crashed into some trees off an Ionia County road.
Ruth Coulombe was driving east on Fisk Road when her vehicle left the road on the right-hand side and struck multiple trees between Storey Road (M-91) and Dietz Road in Otisco Township, police said.
Police and medical personnel responded around 10:57 p.m. Thursday, and extricated Coulombe from her vehicle. She was later transported to a hospital.
"Driver fatigue is suspected to be the primary cause of the accident," according to a news release from the Ionia County Sheriff's Office.
Coulombe, 52, from Greenville, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, police said.
