SARANAC, Mich. (WOOD) - A 39-year-old woman from Grand Rapids was injured after her vehicle crashed and rolled over in Ionia County.
It was around 12:28 a.m. Friday when Ionia County sheriff's deputies saw the wrecked vehicle on westbound I-96 near the 62 mile marker, south of Saranac.
The crossover vehicle was resting on its roof and the driver was partially pinned underneath the vehicle, according to a news release.
Firefighters from the Berlin-Orange Fire Department extricated the woman. Aero Med transported her to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Her condition is unknown.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, police said.
