ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - Wednesday's rains caused a washout on Allegan Dam Road, nearM-40 in south-central Allegan County.
"I wasn't expecting this!" onlooker Cynthia Cervantes said.

"We got a lot of rain -- a lot of rain -- really fast,"VanTilburg said.
Crews blocked off the road in both directions. It's not expectedto be open anytime soon.
The three videos at left are shot by VanTilburg as the floodingdestroyed Allegan Dam Road.
"I flashed my lights from about 100 yards that way, it wasflooded, (another driver) flashed his lights back, so I thought hesaid come on ahead -- so I did," VanTilburg said. "I drove throughand there was water up to the doors of my truck."
One nearby Allegan resident said this is the second time theroad has been washed out in the past 10 years.
Jahleel Hoskins has pleaded guilty to several charges, including second-degree murder, in the death of his girlfriend, Latrice Maze.
Everyone safely escaped the residence.
One former and two current female Battle Creek police officers have filed a federal lawsuit against the City, police chief, deputy police chief and four other officers.
