GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - There is an event Sunday designed to burn some calories while helping benefit the YMCA in Grand Rapids.
The event is called "Spin A Thon" and it will take place at the YMCA located on Lake Michigan Drive.
It starts at 9:30 a.m. and will end at noon.
The Spin A Thon is meant to honor Mary La Ponsie who lost her life in a car crash while on a missionary trip to Haiti earlier this year.
