GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One person died after being involved in a multiple-vehicle crash in Grand Rapids Saturday night.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. near Madison Avenue and Griswold Street SE.
Police said the crash involved three vehicles. One car was traveling south on Madison Avenue when it hit a parked car, then the parked car hit another parked car.
When emergency crews arrived, they said one of the drivers was dead. Officials believe a health issue may be to blame.
The driver who died was identified Thursday at 49-year-old Duane Calhoun of Grand Rapids.
