GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Thirty-five incidents in less that a year, including a homicide, convinced Grand Rapids officials to schedule a hearing to determine whether the New Roosevelt Bar should keep its liquor license.
The hearing is set for March 12, during which city commissioners will consider whether to ask the state Liquor Control Commission to revoke the business's liquor license.
Wellington Guevara, known as "Ponci" to his friends and family, died after he was shot twice in the chest in November 2012 outside the bar.
