GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids police say a man was shot in the neck Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Union Avenue and Dickinson Street SE, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
Officers who arrived on scene found a male victim had been shot in the neck.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The suspect is described as a 17-year-old black male. He was about 5-foot-9 and had a medium build. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a red Nike logo on it and blue jeans.
